- The Presbytery of South Louisiana’s mission statement is Joining Christ in the world, and the Young Adult Volunteer Program as an invaluable extension of PSL’s Church body and mission. The YAVs go out each day working in many different communities around New Orleans and are joining Christ’s mission in New Orleans.

ntry, our presbytery has experienced much joy and transformation through the lives of faithful young adults who give one year of their lives to serve our community.

Your contribution allows the program to provide YAVs with
- a year of housing,
- health insurance,
- spiritual formation and vocational discernment curriculum,
- a small monthly stipend for food and utilities.
